The founding-interest list is free and does not submit an application.

What is Real Artist Guild?

A community being built for people who create through many human practices. That includes visual art, writing, music, performance, dance, design, craft, film, code, and forms that do not fit neatly into a list.

What does the founding-interest list do?

It is a free way to hear about founding opportunities, the first application wave, and launch updates. It is not an application or membership, does not reserve a place, and does not guarantee approval. Signing up does not charge you.

Are applications open?

No. Paid applications remain closed while the review, payment, card, and support processes are prepared. Do not send money through the interest form.

Who will be able to apply?

The planned pilot is for people who are at least 18 and live in the United States. All human creative disciplines are welcome. A degree, professional title, large audience, gallery representation, union membership, or paid work is not required.

What will the $29.99 fee cover?

The pilot fee is one-time and charged when a reviewer begins substantive review of a complete application. It covers the review. If approved, it also includes one initial 12-month membership, one physical card, and standard shipping to a U.S. address. The pilot does not automatically renew.

If an application is not approved, the full $29.99 is refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days after the decision. Appeals are free. These terms will be displayed in the application flow before payment. Paid applications are not open today.

What does the Real Artist Card verify?

Only that a Guild reviewer assessed submitted evidence of an ongoing, human-led creative practice as of the decision date. It does not verify every work or certify quality, originality, sole human authorship, skill, income, credentials, professional status, copyright ownership, or legal rights.

How will applications be reviewed?

The planned review considers the applicant’s connection to a practice, meaningful human creative contribution, whether the practice is current or continuing, and whether the evidence and explanation fit together. Reviewers do not score taste, polish, popularity, or prestige. Digital tools, collaboration, or AI assistance are not automatic disqualifiers.

Before applications open, the form will explain evidence options and accessible alternatives. Applicants may request clarification and one no-fee appeal within 30 days.

How is interest-list information handled?

The form asks for your name, email, and consent to send Guild updates. Forminator is configured to delete submissions after 365 days and anonymize IP and geolocation data after 30 days. Email copies and hosting backups may have separate retention. Read the Privacy Notice for details.

How do I ask for help?

Use the Accessibility and Contact page for general questions, access needs, privacy requests, or a community concern. The founding-interest form is only for Guild updates.

All policiesPrivacyMembershipCommunity standardsWebsite termsAccessibility and contactFAQ

HallwayGuild homeAll policies Frequently Asked Questions Last updated: October 10, 2026 Paid applications are not open.
