Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This notice describes information Real Artist Guild currently collects through the website and free founding-interest list. Paid applications are not open. Before applications open, this notice and the application page will explain any additional information and retention used for review and membership.
Information collected today
The founding-interest form asks for your name, email address, and consent to receive updates about founding opportunities, the first application wave, and Guild launch news. You can visit the site without joining the list. Please do not use this form to send artwork, payment details, passwords, or sensitive personal information.
The form uses Forminator on WordPress. Form entries are stored in the website database. Current Forminator settings are configured to delete submissions after 365 days, anonymize IP address and geolocation data after 30 days, and remove an associated submission when an account-erasure request is processed. These settings have been checked in the dashboard. End-to-end deletion behavior has not yet been tested. Hosting backups and email notifications may have separate retention periods.
How information is used and shared
We use interest-list information to manage the list and send the updates described beside the form. We do not sell or rent interest-list information. Access should be limited to people who need it to manage the list. Form notifications are sent to a site administrator mailbox. Email delivery, mailbox access, and deletion timing are still being verified.
The site is hosted through EasyWP/Namecheap. WordPress, Forminator, the hosting provider, email delivery providers, and security systems may process technical information needed to operate and protect the site. The site may use cookies or similar technologies. We have not completed a full audit of cookies, analytics, host logs, backups, or every provider, so we do not claim the site uses no analytics or cookies.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or to a service provider working on our behalf. We do not authorize service providers to use interest-list information for their own marketing.
Your choices and requests
You may opt out of Guild update emails using an unsubscribe option when one is provided or by sending a request through the Accessibility and Contact page. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete an interest-list entry. We will take reasonable steps to confirm the request comes from the person whose information is involved, without asking for government identification when a less intrusive check is enough.
Form entries are configured for deletion within 365 days. A request may not remove copies already held in email, hosting backups, security logs, or provider systems. We are verifying those separate retention and deletion controls and will explain any exception when handling a request. We keep only the information needed to document that a request was completed.
Application information in the future
Paid applications are not open. Before collecting application evidence, accommodation requests, payment, membership, or shipping information, we will update this notice and explain what is collected, why it is needed, who can access it, and how long it is kept. Payment card numbers will be handled by a payment processor, not stored in WordPress. Applicants will be able to review the notice before submitting a paid application.
Children and age eligibility
The planned paid pilot is for people at least 18 years old who live in the United States. The free interest form is not an application and does not establish membership eligibility. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal information through Guild forms.
Keeping information secure
We use access controls and service-provider safeguards appropriate to the information and systems we have verified. No website or email transmission can be promised to be completely secure. We will investigate suspected incidents, limit access where appropriate, and provide notices when required.
Changes to this notice
We will revise this notice when our collection or use changes. The date above shows when it was last updated. The version shown beside an application will describe practices for that application.
Privacy questions
Use the Accessibility and Contact page to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or private creative files in a general message.
